A Visit to the Pharmacy

right on, had a similar experience at the public health office when I got my shots to go overseas, illegals in front of me were told ..no charge, I paid $200. sos new day, those that rob peter to pay paul can count on Pauls support.

My wife and I stopped into the pharmacy today to pick up two of her prescriptions. The were a number of people in line ahead of us so we waited patiently. One by one they stepped up to the counter, some old, some young, some in-between age, one grossly (perhaps 150lbs) overweight. And one by one, each of them merely signed for the prescription and walked away. Gail and I then stepped up, were handed the meds and told" that will be $58.99, " which I dug into my pocket and paid. Out of 10 in the line, we were the only ones who paid!

No one begrudges some help to those less fortunate. But for so many to pay nothing, not one cent, strikes at the meat of the problem. Too may of us have no investment whatsoever so it is taken for granted that we are "entititled" to freebies.Remember, over 45% pay no, zero, Federal Income Tax.

Maybe it's just me.
