How compromised are our politicians? This compromised. As I reported at Atlas last Saturday, on Friday night a Muslim was arrested in Chicago after plotting to blow up a car bomb outside a crowded bar. According to ABC News, the would-be jihad murderer, Adel Daoud, 18, attended the Islamic Foundation School in Villa Park.
The very next day after the arrest, Illinois Congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth went to speak at the Islamic cultural center in Villa Park, the same place where jihad killer wannabe Adel Daoud went to school. Did she tell the Muslims there that they needed to cooperate with anti-terror efforts and teach against the passages in the quran that call for killing and subjugating infidels? Did she tell them that the elements of sharia that deny the freedom of speech, and the freedom of conscience, and the equality of rights of all people would never be acceptable here, and would have to be discarded by Muslims in America?
No. Tammy Duckworth put on a hijab, and talked about how the growing minority population makes the white community uncomfortable, and how the whites would have to overcome their "racism." The executive director of the Chicago chapter of Hamas-CAIR, Ahmed Rehab, introduced her. That's how compromised our politicians are.
In an article last December in the Huffington Post, Ahmed Rehab of Hamas-linked CAIR claimed that the "Radical Right," not Islamic jihadists, were the greatest threat to America today. His article was full of the predictable whining, victimhood posturing, and no hint whatsoever that any Muslims are waging jihad against the United States.
The thuggish Rehab has also spoken up in defense of the Islamic supremacist group Hizb-ut-Tahrir's right to hold its convention in Chicago (Hizb-ut-Tahrir is banned in many countries), while working to suppress the freedom of speech of anti-jihadists. (Source: Jihadwatch)
