CLINT EASTWOOD’S BACK WITH THIS NEW PRO-ROMNEY AD: AMERICA CAN’T ‘SURVIVE’ ANOTHER OBAMA TERM
Just when you thought Clint Eastwood had taken himself out of the political schema, he’s back — and he’s starring in a new, pro-Mitt Romney advertisement. According to POLITICO, the spot was released this morning by American Crossroads, a super PAC founded by conservative political operative Karl Rove.
“In the last few years, America’s been knocked down. Twenty-three million people can’t find full-time work, and we borrow $4 billion every single day, much of it from China,” Eastwood proclaimsin the ad. “If someone doesn’t get the job done, you have to hold them accountable. Obama’s second term would be a rerun of the first and our country just couldn’t survive that.”

The actor goes on to say that America needs a strong leader who can turn the U.S. around — and fast. Eastwood, of course, heralds Romney has just the man for the job. With urgency, the actor claims that, “There’s no much time left — the future of our country is at stake.”
The ad will be running in swing states Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Virginia — and Ohio. This latter state is being considered a deal-breaker that will have major implications in terms of deciding who wins the 2012 election.
