Few people really know how to stock up on "survival food" for a
disaster.
So in celebration of the release of the best-selling survival
program at www.SurvivalFoodCrisis.com, we decided to share
some little-known survival food facts that will help you better
prepare now.
For example...
Since you never know when you're going to have to leave your home
in a disaster and "bug-out" to safety, it's good to stock up on
light-weight, calorie-dense foods that won't take up a lot of
space.
Some good examples are:
* Graham crackers (crush them up and when needed, just add
some water to make a "pudding")
* Regular crackers (a warning on this in a few seconds...)
* Trail mix (with nuts, but stay tuned for warning...)
* Peanut butter (the natural kind - but again... warning
coming up ;-)
All of these items will be a great addition to help you wait out
a crisis at home, but also serve as amazing "grab-and-go" food if
you need to get the hell out of Dodge.
But now, about that "warning"...
Salty foods make you thirsty.
That's a problem if water is running low and you're on the run.
You don't know ahead of time if water will be an issue as you
bug-out so the safest things to get are dry foods that don't have
added salt.
So opt instead for unsalted crackers... unsalted nuts and
trail mix... unsalted natural peanut butter, etc.
All foods have some moisture in them (even really dry nuts), so
by opting to get unsalted foods, you're not wasting the natural
water in your food.
