Billionaire Thomas Peterffy says he is voting Republican.
This election season, you might see Thomas Peterffy on your TV. He’s not a politician; he’s a billionaire who is afraid America is headed toward socialism.
The ad, which could end up costing Peterffy as much as $ 10 million, will run on CNN,CNBC and Bloomberg.
Peterffy left his home in Hungary and moved to New York in 1965. Without even knowing English, he landed a job on Wall Street and eventually founded one of the first electronic trading firms. But he’s afraid that the country he came to years ago is on a fast track to socialism if things don’t change.
Peterffy believes that Barack Obama’s policies disrespect the rich and destroy work ethic.
“When you trash the leaders of businesses, they stop working hard,” he said. “They go on vacation. I even see that within myself, I used to be proud of building Interactive Brokers. I would look forward to work each day. Now I’m being told I’m not doing my fair share.”

Neither candidate is featured in the ad, but Peterffy does say he is voting

Republican.

Experts Say Global Warming Creates Ice - Ah, ... yes

Those who reject the theory of anthropomorphic global warming have pointed to Antarctica as proof that the theory is preposterous: Ice in Antarctica has reached record levels. But global warming advocates say that the increase in ice is just part of the global warming process.
Experts say that the increase in ice is the result of a giant ozone hole. And the giant ozone hole is there because humans are causing an increase in global temperatures. So there you have it, the ice is a byproduct of global warming.
“A warming world can have complex and sometimes surprising consequences,” said researcher Ted Maksym.
According to researchers, the huge hole is caused by man-made pollutants like chlorine and bromine, and the hole has a cooling effect this time of year. The cooling effect causes the wind to be stronger and more constant which results in the expansion of ice.
Researchers also say that climate change makes the air carry more moisture.

School Lunch Regulations Create Black Market, Hunger, Wasted Food

School Lunch Regulations Create Black Market, Hunger, Wasted Food

Some entrepreneurial students in Massachusetts are using the restrictions on school lunches as a way to make a little extra money. A black market for chocolate syrup is forming. The sugary substance sells for 50 cents a squeeze.
On Aug. 1, chocolate milk became a thing of the past for students at Greater New Bedford Vocational-Technical High School. But that hasn’t stopped students from making their own.
“Of course they got rid of dessert, (but) flavored milk … I don’t understand why we can’t have that,” student Paige Lame told theStandard Times.
The rules also reduce the amount of protein students can have while increasing their servings of fruits and vegetables.
Students are largely not in favor of the new rules. Massachusetts introduced new lunchroom guidelines this year, as have many schools across the Nation.
“You’re paying more for less,” said student Erik Cortez of New Bedford. “I get it, but why should they have the right to tell you what you can and can’t eat?”
If students don’t eat the lunch, then the program is of no benefit, a fact that the Federal government seems to have overlooked. More students are bringing their lunch or just throwing away what they are given in the cafeteria.
“Last year, my son didn’t bring lunch. This year, he’s bringing lunch because he’s hungry,” said a parent of a New Bedford student.
In Wisconsin, students have taken to YouTube to protest.

Another Anti-El Presidente Movie Set To Be Released

August 28, 2012 by
Following the success of “2016: Obama’s America,” another anti-Barack Obama film will soon be released. Produced by Citizens United, “The Hope And the Change” documents the worsening situation of 40 Americans who voted for Obama in 2008.
The film will premiere at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
David Bossie, the group’s president, said Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 911” served as an inspiration.
Michael Moore made a film attacking George Bush, and he didn’t let the facts get in the way of a good storyline,” said Bossie. “What we did was want to be able to do the same thing. That’s what the Citizens United case emanated from. .. And that’s why in 2008 I went to the United States Supreme Court to fight for my right, and it took me many years.  And in 2010 we finally won our victory.”
In September, “The Hope And the Change,” will be in select theaters across the United States, and it might air on a cable channel regularly until Election Day.
“This is the first election cycle that we are now legally able to make a political documentary and show it and its ads on television,” Bossie said. “And we’re really excited about that.”

El Presidente Says He Will ‘Just Keep On Following’ Ge Sus!

Obama Says He Will ‘Just Keep On Following’ Jesus

Posters made and hung by Israeli right-wing extremists depict President Barack Obama in an Arab kaffiyah headdress on a billboard in downtown Jerusalem.
Amid criticism from even his liberal friends, President Barack Obama says he takes comfort in knowing that he is loved. “First and foremost, my Christian faith gives me a perspective and security that I don’t think I would have otherwise: that I am loved,” the President said in a recent interview withWashington National Cathedral magazine.
Obama said his faith has influenced his ideas about healthcare, a similar statement to that which he made about his stance on same-sex marriage.
“Faith tells us that there is something about this world that ties our interest to the welfare of a child who can’t get the health care they need, or a parent who can’t find work after the plant shut down, or a family going hungry,” Obama said.
The President also said that those who doubt he is a Christian should just look at his life.
“I have a job to do as president, and that does not involve convincing folks that my faith in Jesus is legitimate and real. I do my best to live out my faith, and to stay in the Word, and to make my life look more like His,” he said.
“What I can do is just keep on following Him, and serve others—trying to make folks’ lives a little better using this humbling position that I hold.”

Hillary Dances Dirty In South Africa

Hillary Dances Dirty In South Africa

Hillary Clinton danced with jazz singer Judith Sephuma.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went to South Africa this week. She attended an AIDS conference, met with Nelson Mandela and danced with a local woman in a way that would make prom chaperones feel like they shirked their duty.
At a dinner in Johannesburg, hosted by South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Clinton took to the floor in an electric blue jacket. Jazz singer Judith Sephuma had her eye on Clinton. The two women shook and shimmied, grinding the night away.
In recent times, Clinton has ditched her boring reputation in favor of being Mrs. Cool. During  a recent trip to Cartegena she was photographed dancing and drinking beer at a nightclub. Before that, a video of the former first lady texting while wearing sunglasses went viral. A website was even created as a result of the picture.
Rumors have swirled for years that Clinton might make a run for the Presidency in 2016.
