How dangerous would a Barack Obama second term be? Obama has tried to hide his agenda so the American public hasn’t a clue, but the facts we do know all add up to a very bleak picture.
Small businesses: First, it is clear that Obama will
keep the tax hikes on those making $250,000 or more:
“In interviews leading up to the Democratic National Convention, Obama talked about how he’d govern if he won another term. He told Time Magazine that because of his policy contrasts with Romney, he’d interpret a win as giving him a mandate to maintain the Bush-era tax cuts for people making less than $250,000.”
Second, those tax hikes will
kill small businesses:
“Researchers determined the plan would actually subject 2.1 million business owners to higher rates; specifically, those who pay pass-through taxes, like most partnerships, LLCs and S-Corporations. The result, less capital in the hands of business owners and diminished labor supply, would cost the United States an estimated $200 billion in economic output and 710,000 jobs.”

“New research, released today by the National Federation of Independent Business, shows that allowing tax relief on the top individual rates to expire will hurt job creation and the economy. The report, published by top accounting firm Ernst & Young, shows raising top individual rates would hurt small-business job creators in particular.” (NFIB,

How about the rising price of your electric bill?
Look out:
“President Obama Has Said The Most Important Policy He Could Address In A Second Term Is Climate Change. Obama has an ambitious second-term agenda, which, at least in broad ways, his campaign is beginning to highlight. The President has said that the most important policy he could address in his second term is climate change, one of the few issues that he thinks could fundamentally improve the world decades from now.”
Of course, before he was president, Obama
acknowledged what would happen to electricity rates in his ideal world:
“When I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, you know, under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it, whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.”
Don’t ask him about all the money the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) says will be
stolen from Medicare:

Or how the CBO reveals the increased Medicare taxes from ObamaCare:
“Starting In 2013, Obamacare Will Also Expand Medicare Taxes To Investment Income And Increase Payroll Taxes – Costing Taxpayers $318 Billion.”
What about the 43,000 jobs
lost overseas because of ObamaCare’s medical device Tax?
“The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) released a report Wednesday that says device-makers might ship 43,000 jobs overseas once the tax takes effect in 2013.”
You’re worried about running a deficit in your finances? Don’s ask Obama for advice; he’s planning on
growing the deficit exponentially:
“A new analysis of President Barack Obama’s budget for next year says the deficit scenario for next year isn’t as rosy as the White House figured last month. Friday’s Congressional Budget Office report said Obama’s budget would produce a $977 billion deficit next year — $75 billion more than predicted by the White House.”
That’s just for next year; when you look farther down the road,
disaster:
“The Congressional Budget Office said Friday that President Barack Obama’s tax and spending policies will yield $6.4 trillion in deficits over the next decade, more than double the shortfall in CBO’s own fiscal baseline — even after taking credit for reduced war costs.”
And most important of all, on the one issue that is most paramount, national defense, Obama will
eviscerate the military:
“The book ‘The Price of Politics,’ by Washington Post Associate Editor Bob Woodward, makes it clear the idea for the draconian spending cuts originated in the White House – and not in Congress. According to the book, excerpts of which were obtained by POLITICO ahead of the Sept. 11 release, President Barack Obama’s top deputies believed the prospect of massive defense cuts would compel Republicans to agree to a deficit-cutting grand bargain. Then-OMB Director Jack Lew, now the White House chief of staff, and White House Legislative Affairs Director Rob Nabors pitched the idea to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Woodward writes.”
1.5 million jobs will be
lost:
“’Sequestration ($1 trillion in cuts) assumes across the board spending cuts with losses peaking in the 2013-2014 time period, with 1 million to 1.5 million jobs lost and that could increase the U.S. unemployment rate by nearly 1 percentage point in the near term,’ said Lt. Col. Elizabeth Robbins, a spokeswoman of the Department of Defense.”
Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense admitted on February 16 of this year that there was an impending debacle:
“And let me tell you something if sequester goes into effect, you can throw all of this out the window. Sequester doubles the numbers of cuts, does it through that crazy formula, and guarantees that we are going to hollow the force and devastate our national security.”
The danger of an Obama second term is terrifyingly real.
