The Real Danger from The caliph خليفةCare and How YOU Can Help Repeal It!

Please give your attention to this important announcement fromthe Association of Mature American Citizens. From time to time, we send you content on behalf of third parties we believe may be of interest to you and we believe this one deserves your attention.

The Real Danger from ObamaCare and How YOU Can Help Repeal It!
The Supreme Court let The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare) stand.
Because of faulty reasoning from Chief Justice Roberts and with the full cooperation of the four extreme left Justices – our individual rights have been taken away.
Under the pretense of collecting a tax, the Government now has unprecedented control – not only of our medical system – but control of our entire lives!
Simply by passing a regulation, Government bureaucrats – with IRS agents acting as their henchmen – can now tell us what foods we eat, what kind of cars we can drive, what the temperature of our homes must be set at and thousands of other ways we citizens must obey them!
This sounds crazy, but it's the truth. Once government regulators realize the tremendous power the Supreme Court has handed them, it is only a matter of time before they will begin to impose tax penalties on every regulation they want us to follow.
By carrying this ruling to the extreme – that Congress has the absolute right to determine how we can live – so long as it is in the name of a tax – the Supreme Court has unleashed a horrible monster that will destroy the fabric of our society by taking away our freedom!
For example, the Health and Human Services Department is now empowered to issue an order to force obese children to follow a certain diet (i.e. eat broccoli), or their parents could be forced to pay a fine.
The EPA can now forbid a person from buying an SUV if the person owns a pickup truck. All the EPA has to do is issue a regulation saying that individual can only purchase a hybrid – or face a heavy fine.
Every time they do something like that – they will be taking away another one of our rights!
The court said this is OK – because if the people don't want a certain law we just have to replace our Congressmen and Senators with Representatives who are supposed to vote the way we want them to.
Sounds good, but they left out some important facts!
As we have just seen with ObamaCare – our leaders made promises to us that were out and out lies!
We were told...
...that our health insurance would decrease by $2,500 per year under the new law, but it increased by almost that amount!
...that our present health insurance would not change. President Obama said that if we liked our insurance, we could keep it. In fact, millions of people have changed their insurance because of ObamaCare!
...that ObamaCare would save the taxpayers billions of dollars in the next several years. Now the Government's own projections are saying that the National Debt will have to be increased at least One Trillion Dollars in the next 10 years to cover the costs from this ill-conceived plan!
In addition to misleading us, some of our elected representatives have become experts in "pulling the wool over our eyes". By using their privilege to send us mail at no cost to them, they constantly tell us what a good job they are doing – and how they are taking care of us by passing laws that will "help" us.
Did you ever get a letter from a Senator or Congressman or Congresswoman telling us:
"The Law I just passed will cost
taxpayers $12 billion dollars!"
Of course not! Never!
And we never will get a letter like that. That is why it is so hard to get rid of bad elected officials.
A recent poll said that most voters gave Congress a very poor rating – yet most voters gave their own representatives a high rating.
The simple fact is that most voters don't spend a lot of time checking out their Representative's record. Instead they rely on left leaning Main Stream Media who sees it as their duty to protect extreme liberals while attacking fiscal and social conservatives.
And here's the clincher... Supporting their effort is the most powerful lobby in the Country – AARP!
Under the guise of representing older Americans, AARP has succeeded in getting laws passed that take away our individual liberty and harm our economy.
In recent memos just released, the AARP was caught wheeling and dealing with the White House in supporting the passage of ObamaCare, despite the fact that they were getting phone calls from their members 14-to-1 against it!
All that, despite the fact that polls showed 85% of those over age 65 were satisfied or very satisfied with their present medical insurance.
Unfortunately, sometime in the last 20 or so years, the AARP has taken a sharp turn to the left.
So the cards looked like they were stacked against us!!
And then along came AMAC!
The Association of Mature American Citizens,AMAC, is by far the leading conservative alternative to AARP – now 400,000 members and counting!
When the Supreme Court ruled for ObamaCare
Only one senior organization was there to hand-deliver tens of thousands of petitions to repeal it.
AMAC
When the "Doctor's Caucus" of 21 House members (who are doctors) had a press conference offering ways to fix our Health Care
Only one senior organization was there to speak on behalf of older Americans.
AMAC
After the Court Ruled to allow ObamaCare to stand
Only one senior organization stood ready to respond on behalf of older Americans.
AMAC
AMAC's President, Dan Weber, stands in Washington with members of the Doctor's Caucus with a sampling of the tens of thousands of petitions signed by AMAC Members to repeal ObamaCare
What's the difference between AARP and AMAC?
The Constitution
They think it's out of date, but AMAC thinks it is the greatest document ever devised by man for the governance of man.
Big Government
They are for more government, but AMAC thinks there is too much government and wasted spending.
Social Security
They are scaring older people to get members, but AMAC has brought to Congress a solution to keep Social Security solvent.
ObamaCare
They pushed for it and stand to gain millions from their insurance sales, but AMAC knows it will result in rationing and are fighting to repeal it.
Our National Debt
They are ignoring it, but AMAC is pushing to reduce spending, cut departments and get our fiscal house in order.
They are part of the Liberal Media. AMAC publishes a national magazine that prints both sides of an argument in a fair and balanced way.
If you want an organization that will speak out for the values you believe in,
Join AMAC today!
A Senator told us, "You have got to grow AMAC!" When we asked him why he said, "You don't understand, when AARP comes to our committees they say they represent older Americans. We know at times, they really don't, but because of their numbers we have got to listen to them. When AMAC has one million members we can tell them they are not the only one we will listen to."
AMAC can do something AARP will not do – we'll help replace the horror of ObamaCare with common sense solutions that will preserve our rights while improving the level of Health Care for all Americans! To do it, we need your help!
We need you to join with us! Go to AMAC.us and join today!
For a limited time, a 5-year membership is available for less than $1 a month, and you can save hundreds of dollars each year in exclusive AMAC benefits alone – such as through the members-only auto and home insurance program!

Why I Refuse To Join the AARP

I have reached that point in my life where cashiers at McDonalds—teenagers who cannot make change without the help of a computer—take one look at me and ask: “Would you like the senior discount.” What I would really like when asked this question is to take a sledge-hammer to the cashier’s skate board or pull the metal stud out of her nose. As you can see from my grouchiness, I am now old enough to qualify for membership in the AARP, if qualify is the right word. In spite of possessing the requisite qualifications—the need for bifocals and loss of short-term memory to name just two—I refuse to join the AARP. Why? The answer is simple: Because what was once known as the American Association of Retired Persons no longer has anything to do with helping retired people. Rather, it is about using its access to the elderly to make money—a lot of money—and using that money to pay its executives exorbitant salaries while lobbing for leftwing political causes such as Obamacare.
According to a new study produced after Congress asked the IRS to review the organization’s tax exempt status, AARP operates on a for-profit basis but enjoys the tax-exempt status of a non-profit enterprise. The AARP’s revenue in 2010 was $1.2 billion. If you are thinking the organization’s dues must be awfully high to generate that kind of cash, think again. Dues charged by the AARP are actually kept quite low because that is not where the lion’s share of the organization’s revenue comes from. AARP makes it money endorsing products aimed at elderly people and by allowing its name to be used—for royalties of course—by a private insurance firm that markets supplemental Medicare insurance. This cozy arrangement with the insurance company earned the AARP $670 million in 2010. In other words, the AARP makes its money in the same way that for-profit businesses make theirs.
The AARP’s most effective political strategy is using scare tactics to convince seniors that Congress is trying to take away their Medicare benefits, even though the organization’s executives know better. What is widely known in the halls of Congress as well as the halls of the AARP’s corporate headquarters is that even the most aggressive Medicare reform recommendations apply to no one over the age of 55. Ironically, AARP executives understand as well as anyone that Medicare reform must be part of the equation for solving America’s budget woes. In spite of this knowledge, AARP executives—in league with liberal politicians who operate with the same disregard for the future—stubbornly cling to their selfish goal of getting mine now.
Obamacare would not have passed without the strong support of seniors who were egged on by the purposefully deceitful scare tactics of the AARP. Telling seniors that they must support Obamacare or see their Medicare benefits reduced, the AARP was able to generate a tidal wave of grassroots support from seniors nationwide. The truth, known to AARP executives who deceitfully stirred up fear among the elderly in America, is that Obamacare not only fails to protect Medicare benefits, its cuts them by $500 million dollars annually to help finance other aspects of President Obama’s signature legislative “victory.”
If seniors heard the truth rather than the propaganda spread by the AARP, would they really support leftwing policies that will leave the country their grandchildren will inherit bankrupt? Although I hope this would not be the case, I cannot answer for other seniors. I can, however, answer for this senior and my answer is a resounding “NO!”
