For over a decade now, Americans have had to settle for television shows that are utterly and wholly depraved. Every TV show that I can think of has the token gay guy, illicit sex, crude humor and more. It’s enough to make you want to shut your cable off for good.
However, there are a few series that have popped up in recent years that give some hope that good television may still exist.
If you aren’t already a fan of these shows, it’s my hope that I can convince you to tune in and support these worthy programs. Maybe, just maybe, we can get some of these networks to run more quality family programming.
3. Last Man Standing
Airs on Friday at 8:00 pm on ABC
Show Description: Tim Allen stars as Mike Baxter, marketing director of an outdoor sporting goods store, fighting for his manhood while constantly surrounded by women, including his wife and three growing daughters.
Why I love this show: Allen’s character, Mike Baxter, is a man’s man: he loves sports, he loves hunting. He doesn’t play the doofus dad portrayed on so many other shows. He is a family man; he despises big government and government bureaucracy. He hates political correctness and works for a company that sells guns. How many other shows can you think of where such a character exists, much less plays the lead role?
2. Gold Rush
Airs on Friday at 9:00 pm on Discovery Channel
Show Description: Jack and Todd Hoffman had a dream: the American dream. They want to make a pile of money in gold mining. Many of the folks on their crew faced adversity at home where they either lost their jobs or saw their incomes cut drastically due to the recession.
Why I love this show: This is their 3rd season and for the first time it appears they might just hit it big. While they have had their share of failures on the show, they keep striving towards their goal of 1,000 ounces of gold. More importantly, Gold Rush is a show that embraces family and good old American values. The Hoffmans and the rest of their crew are clearly men of faith. They pray often on the show and their entire families have traveled to the claim in the Klondike to support them. You will find yourself rooting for the Hoffmans and praying they will find the gold for which they have longed.
1.  Duck Dynasty
Airs on Wednesdays at 10:00 pm on A&E
Show Description: A&E Network introduces the Robertsons, a Louisiana bayou family living the American dream as they operate a thriving business while staying true to their family values and lifestyle. Ask anyone in Louisiana and they’ll tell you that the bayou state’s favorite first family doesn’t live in the governor’s mansion but in the backwoods, where the Robertson’s rags-to-riches story is still unfolding. A homegrown mom-and-pop operation, Duck Commander has become a sporting empire by fabricating top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood.
This newly minted multimillionaire family is kept in line by business-savvy Willie, who runs Duck Commander with the help of his brother Jase, their respective wives Korie and Missy, patriarch and founder of the company, Phil, and uncle Si. Together they run a booming business that employs half their neighborhood, but at the end of the day, you can find the whole family around matriarch Kay’s dinner table.
Each episode brings a new set of challenges, met with a special brand of Southern know-how and a down-home sense of humor.
Why I Love It: This is the funniest family on TV. I don’t get the fascination with Honey Boo Boo but I guarantee if you watch this show, you will laugh your face off. Jase and Si steal the show. These two guys were destined for TV greatness. The family works together and plays together. They know how to have a good time while maintaining their Christian faith, moral values, and love for business. Each episode ends with the extended family sharing a meal together where the father prays and Willie, the CEO of Duck Commander, makes final remarks about the episode, bringing attention to the most important things in life: faith, family, and freedom. If you watch one show this year, this is the one that you should make time for in your busy week.
If you are fan of these shows, please leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Also, let me know if you have a TV program worth sharing. We will make sure to let our readers know.

Blah, Blah, Racist, Blah, Blah, Racist, Blah, Blah, Blah, Racist

I love white meat, and if you love white meat, you’re most likely reacting to some inner anti-dark worldview, because, according to Ron Rosenbaum at Slate, “Dark meat represents slime and viscosity. Dark meat embodies all the menace of dissolution into the nothingness that is the slimy ground of being itself!” What he’s trying to say, if you like white (white meat and white bread), you’re not right. Rosenbaum’s high brow but sad piece is the end-point of how liberals think these days. They find a narrative that resonates with their constituency groups and blast its sound 24/7 from the highest media outposts. The sad thing is, it works.
When you can’t win an argument by challenging someone’s operating assumptions or marshalling of the facts, pull the ad hominem card. To argue ad hominem (“against the man”) means to attack the person making the argument instead of the argument itself. Ad hominem reasoning is an informal fallacy of irrelevance. A person making an argument can hold to horrible opinions and live a scandalously immoral life but still make a valid and sound case for or against a position. That is, he can like white meat and white bread and not be a racist.
Usually ad hominem arguments are arguments of last resort when logic and facts are not on the attacker’s side.
The attacks made against someone can be either true or false. The goal is to delegitimize an argument by calling into question the character of the person making the argument or manufacturing a charge in order to obscure the truth or falsity of an argument. If you’re a white-meat eater, there are really dark thoughts in your soul (if you even have one).
Liberals are skillful in the use of the ad hominem attack. “How can we take this man’s criticism seriously when it’s obvious that he’s a racist? Look how white he is!” It doesn’t matter if the charge is true; the goal is to divert attention away from the weakness of the argument being made by the person who makes the ad hominem allegation.
Throughout the 2012 presidential campaign, any criticism of President Obama’s policy was said to be wrapped up in a thin veneer of racism. A similar tactic was employed when conservatives objected to using tax payers’ money to pay for contraceptives. This was seen as a “war on women.” We’ve seen the combination of the racism and war on women charges when Republicans wanted to question Susan Rice, the current Ambassador to the United Nations, and the way she explained the Benghazi attacks. Sure enough, even to question anything she said or did was anti-woman and racist. What else could it be?
Now Ken Burns has joined the “it-must-be-about-racism” crowd. Burns is best known, and maybe only known, for his many documentaries. He first gained notoriety for his documentary The Civil War (1990), and then went on to direct and produce documentaries on baseball (1994), jazz (2001), the national parks (2009), war (2011), and the dust bowl.
While appearing on a Meet the Press panel to discuss Steven Spielberg’s new film LincolnBurns asked the guests, “Do you think we’d have a secession movement in Texas and in other places … if this president wasn’t African American?” Secession + white meat + white bread = racism. The math is easy when you know how to do it. Who knows what Rosenbaum would think if you sleep on white sheets.
If it’s always been about racism, then why wasn’t there a call for secession after Obama won in 2008?
Burns even brought up the Tea Party in his racism charge. Why did the Tea Party get behind Ted Cruz, who is Hispanic, in his Senate race in Texas if the Tea Party is all about “vitriol” and “racism”? There were Republicans Mia Love in Utah and Allen West in Florida, both black, that Democrats would not vote for.
It’s the Democrats who keep making race an issue. They are the ones who have to drag it into every conversation. The reason for their preoccupation with race is that they do not want to talk about the issues.

Oh, Isn't this interesting - Generals accessed by maahslimes

November 15, 2012, - 12:08 pm

Jill Kelley Helped Muslim Nations, Hezbollah Infiltrate Central Command, MacDill Base; “Go To Girl” For Muslim Parties w/ Generals

Jill Khawam Kelley was the hand-picked lobbyist for Muslim nations and their agenda at Central Command.
Kelley, who is part of the soap opera that the Petraeus scandal spawned, was in charge of hosting parties and social events to push the Islamic agenda of Middle Eastern countries. She was seen by Muslim Mid-East nations, especially Hezbollah-controlled Lebanon, as the “go to” woman to push their agenda on top American generals. She was a lobbyist for their cause and, yet, wasn’t required to register as a lobbyist, like all others who host lavish parties for top American officials, like she did, in an attempt to influence U.S. policy in the Middle East.

Gen. David Petraeus w/ the Arab Nations’ Agent of Influence @ Central Command, Jill Kelley
Kelley, a dhimmi Christian Arab of Lebanese descent, was well known in the Muslim Arab embassies of Washington for doing their bidding and hosting their parties at and near MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, where our nation’s top generals are based. It’s where Central Command–the U.S. Armed Forces’ leadership over wars and military personnel Middle East–is headquartered.

When a friend of mine said that he thought the financially troubled Khawam sisters, Kelley and Natalie Khawam, were spies for Lebanon and the Arab world, I originally expressed skepticism. I believed that these twin sisters with obvious twin nose jobs were merely bimbo gold diggers in slutty outfits, who used their Delilah ways to first nab rich husbands, and then nab idiotic top American generals to participate in Lifetime-Channel-worthy bitter child custody disputes. But then I learned that Ms. Kelley, who was until this week under the radar, was quietly involved in pushing the agenda of Muslim Arab nations on our nation’s top generals with whom she’d grown close by design. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Ms. Kelley got her hooks into our two top generals in the Middle East, David Petraeus and John Allen. I’m now convinced that my friend, lawyer Gary Welsh of Advance Indiana, who has excellent instincts, was correct.
I’ve long written about the infiltration of Central Command at MacDill Air Base in Tampa by Islamic terrorists. Islamic Jihad founder and convicted Islamic terrorist, Sami Al-Arian, was an instructor on the Middle East to our top generals at MacDill Air Force Base AT THE VERY SAME TIME that he was planning mergers and terrorist attacks in Israel with “the brothers of HAMAS” and while he was bringing Muslim illegal alien Islamic terrorists to the U.S. Al-Arian’s friend and co-conspirator, Ramadan Abdullah Shallah (one of those Al-Arian brought here), who became the Secretary-General of the worldwide Islamic Jihad terrorist group, was also a lecturer at MacDill and also taught our top generals his poisonous views on the Middle East and Israel. FBI and INS agents who investigated Shallah and Al-Arian were alarmed at the influence these two top Islamic terrorists had over CentCom. They were also alarmed to find many books on the inner workings of MacDill in Shallah’s house when they raided it.
So when people ask me how I think these women were able to insert themselves into top generals’ lives and topple them (along with, apparently, the men they married), I think back to the fact that our top generals gladly allowed top terrorists to infiltrate Central Command as alleged “professors” on the Middle East. And when generals like Petraeus and Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. openly attack Israel and America’s relationship with Israel, people like Jill Khawam Kelley and Al-Arian and Shallah are the reason why. Khawam Kelley isn’t an innocent socialite. She’s an agent of influence for Arab Muslim nations.
A military officer who is a former member of Petraeus’s staff said Kelley was a “self-appointed” go-between for Central Command officers with Lebanese and other Middle Eastern officials. . . . At the parties Jill Kelley hosted at her Tampa mansion, guests were frequently treated to the indulgences of celebrity life: valet parking, string quartets on the lawn, premium cigars and champagne, and caviar-laden buffets.
The main recipients of the largess were military brass — including some of the nation’s most senior commanders — based at nearby MacDill Air Force Base.
Kelley flaunted her access to these military VIPs. . . . The investigations of Petraeus’s and Allen’s actions, nonetheless, have raised questions about how Kelley, a woman with no formal military role, cultivated such close ties to two of the nation’s most revered generals.
One former aide to Allen, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the case, suggested that Kelley had become a de facto social ambassador among high-ranking personnel at MacDill, home to the U.S. Central Command and Special OperationsCommand.
Middle Eastern diplomats in Washington also knew Ms. Kelley, who came from a Lebanese immigrant family and who helped arrange social activities when dignitaries from the region visited Tampa, diplomats said. She also sometimes attended parties at Washington embassies.
I guarantee you that Jill Khawam Kelley wasn’t hosting visits from dignitaries from Israel. And, other than those from Israel, every single “Middle Eastern diplomat” in Washington is a Muslim, most of them Muslim Arabs. And all of them Muslims with an agenda that is anti-Israel and anti-Western. And definitely not in America’s best interests. They come to Tampa for one reason and one reason only–to ingratiate themselves with the top military brass at CentCom at MacDill.
And Jill Khawam Kelley was their social director in that mission.
Kelley’s sister, Natalie Khawam, was married to a top Bush administration official, Grayson Wolfe, Director of Broader Middle East Initiatives and Iraqi Reconstruction at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and frequently accompanied him on trips to the Middle East, including to Pakistan. Before that position, Wolfe was the Bush-installed Manager of the Private Sector Development Office of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, Iraq. How many of the Khawam’s insider Arab Muslim friends did he give sweetheart contracts to? Before It’s News has more and asks more questions about the consulting and contracting firm that Wolfe now heads. Although they are now embroiled in a bitter custody fight over their son, you have to wonder what influence Khawam had on him and what was done in the Middle East. She recently sued her former employer, a Jewish lawyer, Barry Cohen, but gave up after her lawsuit was shown to be phony. Cohen struck back and found that Khawam engaged in bankruptcy fraud.
My friend wasn’t so far-fetched when he insisted the Khawam chicks are modern day Mata Haris for the Muslim Arabs.
Just look at what they’ve accomplished for the Muslim Mid-East, all of it under the radar . . . until Paula Broadwell had the stupidity to send her threatening e-mails and Jill Khawam Kelley had the stupidity of complaining about it to shirtless FBI agent Frederic Humphries.

Big Labor at the TSA (Transportation Security Administration)

Dear Friend,

President Barack Obama will leave no stone unturned when it comes to forcing workers under union-boss control.

Last week, for the first time ever, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) airport screeners ratified a monopoly bargaining agreement -- despite the inherent danger of subjecting our national security interests to union monopoly control and the crippling work rules and bureaucracy it brings.

You see, the executive branch has the authority to exempt federal workers from monopoly bargaining rules if the workers are part of national security or intelligence programs.

Current law automatically excludes employees of the FBI and CIA from union monopoly bargaining due to the extremely sensitive nature of work they do.

But in the rush to create the TSA in the months after the 9/11 terrorism attacks, the Bush Administration failed to extend that automatic policy to airport screeners despite warnings from your National Right to Work Committee.

Your Committee is also working to ensure that legislation to end monopoly bargaining at the TSA is introduced in the next session of Congress.

The Obama Administration took advantage of its discretionary authority as soon as it could -- all to pump yet more money into Big Labor's coffers.

TSA officials insist that airport screeners can't strike, and union bosses can't negotiate over vital security interests.

But American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) union bosses now yield monopoly bargaining powers over disciplinary actions, shift schedules, and other rules, which could prevent the TSA from making personnel adjustments when necessary.

Not only that, illegal strikes are all too common in the government sector -- union bosses know they can frequently demand and obtain amnesty from thin-skinned bureaucrats.

And as pro-Right to Work Senator Jim DeMint has warned, the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency provides a roadmap for what we can expect from the unionized TSA.

Biased arbitrators have forced the CBP to obtain union bosses' permission when reassigning personnel, and union bosses have fought tooth-and-nail against merely letting the CBP investigate officers accused of violence.

I'm sure you can predict how union bosses will react when passengers complain about harassment by TSA airport screeners abusing their authority.

Hidden payoffs to Big Labor in ObamacareA radical federal labor boardAnd now a unionized TSA.

What other stones will Barack Obama turn over in the next four years?

Sincerely,

Mark Mix
