Obama Campaign spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter told National Public Radio (NPR) that American women are not concerned at all with what has happened in the past four years under Barack Obama, but they are very concerned about the next four years.
In an interview on the Diane Rehm Show yesterday, Cutter said,
“We’ll continue doing what we have been doing, trying to get the president’s message out on the ground. Whether it’s in the suburban areas of Northern Virginia, or Denver, Ohio, to talk about what the president wants to do in the future. That’s the other thing that you find most often with women. They’re not really concerned about what’s happened over the last four years, they really want to know what’s going to happen in the next four years.”
That’s right. They are just going to think about the last four years that saw 683,000 women lose their job. They are just going to think about the last four years that saw 19 million Americans added to the rolls of food stamps. They are just going to think about a White House where women are paid 18% less than men. And then they are going to turn for Obama because they want even more of the dirty Sanchez treatment over the next four years.For reasons that are unclear to me, the Romney campaign has essentially ceded the field in the fight for women who vote based on their sex organs rather than issues. I don’t know how big that demographic is but after one brief attempt with the job loss data for women under Obama nothing has been heard. In the meantime the Obama campaign is hammering home that Romney will defund Planned Parenthood and that will mean Armageddon for women’s health because the only healthcare women ever need is an abortion.
Well the Romney campaign put out it’s own response to Cutter’s comments. Andrea Saul wrote,
“It is highly offensive that the Obama campaign believes women either haven’t noticed or aren’t smart enough to care about how devastating President Obama’s failed economic policies have been for us. On President Obama’s watch, women have lost 419,000 jobs, our poverty rate is the highest it’s been in 17 years, and we shoulder $16,000 more in national debt as a result of his misguided economic policies. Worse still, all we can expect from President Obama’s second term is more of the same. Clearly, women can’t afford another four years like the last four years.”
While all of that is true, what the Obama campaign is clearly pointing to is the issues of abortion and contraception. There is no doubt that they think all that is on the minds of women is having sex, how to keep from getting pregnant while doing it and making sure they can do it with anyone they please.
The Democrats are the party of sluts. Remember the buttons Democrats were wearing at the DNC? They have no respect for women. Women are nothing more than sex objects for them. Sadly Democrat women are not even aware of how Democrat men view them.
Women should be concerned with much more than contraception and abortion and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what will take place should there be another four years of Barack Obama. I’m glad to know plenty of upstanding women who know the past and know what four more years of Barack Obama will bring and are preparing accordingly.
