Can you guess why?
Madonna has decided against wearing a Muslim
bridal dress, a combination of a traditional Iraqi bridal veil and a US
soldier’s uniform, in her new music video after being convinced by her advisers
to give the outfit a miss for her own safety…
The 54-year-old singer was planning to don a ‘Terror Bride’ outfit
– a combination of a traditional Iraqi bridal veil and a US soldier’s uniform –
in the video for upcoming single ‘Superstar’ as a statement against oppression
against women and war, but her advisers convinced her to ditch the political
stunt because of the outrage it would be likely to cause.
Madonna, respecting people’s religious beliefs? Or at least not
going out of her way to tweak them? There really is a first time for
everything.
Guess she’s worried about being attacked by Not All Muslims. Or
she doesn’t want to end up in jail like that “Innocence of Muslims” guy.
Remember, as the President of the United States says: “The future must not
belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
As for all you Catholics out there? Tough! Obama’s not going to
apologize to you for Madonna’s blasphemy. Everybody knows you’re harmless.
Now shut up and pay for Sandra Fluke’s birth control. Whaddaya
gonna do, start a riot? Please.
