Caroline Wozniacki has been accused of doing a 'racist' impersonation of fellow tennis player Serena Williams after stuffing her bra and shorts. 

At a recent exhibition against Maria Sharapova in Brazil, the former world No. 1 stuffed courtside towels down her kit to replicate the body of the curvaceous Grand Slam champion. 

But now the 22-year-old Dane, whose boyfriend golfer Rory McIlroy was in the crowd, has now been accused of racism by some observers.

Wozniacki mentioned during a press conference after the game that she was performing an impression of her friend and fellow tennis player Serena Williams.

She said: 'I really love the crowd here, they're open and they have a lot of fun.'

This was not the first time Wozniacki imitated the American icon - she also copied her last year as well.

Tennis impersonations are usually the hallmark of Novak Djokovic - the Serb has imitated off rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, as well as women's stars Williams and Sharapova.

Many suggest that the best way to keep tuition affordable is by increasing government assistance through student loans, grants, and tax credits for education. Professor Daniel Lin shows that doing so will actually lead to higher college costs, because loans/grants/tax credits are directly related to the increasing cost of education.

Before we can find any solution, it is important to understand the root cause of the rising prices. Professor Lin finds that increased demand—fueled by improved job prospects for graduates and increased government assistance—is to blame for soaring tuition prices. Knowing the cause should inform our search for a solution.

If not Boehner, then who?
Last week, American Majority Action kicked off the trending #FireBoehner hastag on Twitter and began to pressure House members to abstain from voting for Speaker.
After speaking with the House Parliamentarian, we discovered the House precedent is actually interpreted to mean an absolute majority of votes cast for a specific candidate. So, House members do nothing by abstaining. However, the core idea remains: Without a majority (50% +1), the House is speakerless. If neither Boehner nor Pelosi win 50%, the House keeps voting until a new leader arises with a majority.
To get Boehner under 50%, we need to unite behind a candidate—or candidates. We have more than three weeks to choose.
American Majority Action is endorsing Tom Price, Jim Jordan, and Jeb Hensarling as candidates for Speaker and senior leadership.

Though Price has announced that he does not plan to run, all three would be a welcome change. All three have been staunch conservatives—standing up against the Bush spending sprees. They have each been in leadership and have significant support in the caucus.
The #FireBoehner movement has become a threat: If Speaker Boehner compromises with Obama and they propose a tax-hike together, Speaker Boehner will be finished.
#FireBoehner started after Boehner proposed a tax-hike and purged four key conservatives from their committees. The movement has had tremendous support so far, and more House members will join our cause if Boehner capitulates.
We cannot raise taxes on our small businesses right now. Any Republican who votes for a tax-hike will be primaried—we can guarantee that.
If Obama continues to force the issue, we agree with Senator Rand Paul: Let Democrats eat the tax-hikes. Republicans should vote “present” and let liberals own these awful polices.
We shouldn’t—conservatives shouldn’t—endorse any policy that will destroy jobs for normal Americans, as tax hikes would. We should be fighting for what works. Frankly, we should be looking at tax cuts. Reagan cut taxes 25% in 1981, during both a recession and fiscal crisis, and by the end of his term: Revenue from the highest bracket doubled, Americans created 20 million jobs, and youth unemployment fell 43%.
That’s what we should be fighting for—not a smaller tax hike.
Boehner be warned.

American Communist/Islamofascist-sympathizers are wringing their hands over 2011 Muslim Hate Crime stats

From the radical leftists at the Southern Poverty Law Center (where BNI and other anti-Islam bloggers top their hate-groups list), we learn that that the FBI numbers for anti-Muslim hate crimes in the U.S. are about the same for 2011 as they were in 2010 when there was an “unprecedented 50% spike.” What they choose not to highlight is the fact that anti-Jewish hate crimes are still about 5 times higher than anti-Muslim hate crimes.

Religious bias

FBI Hate crimes motivated by religious bias accounted for 1,318 offenses reported by law enforcement. A breakdown of the bias motivation of religious-biased offenses showed:

• 62.2 percent were anti-Jewish.

• 13.3 percent were anti-Islamic.

• 5.2 percent were anti-Catholic.

• 4.8 percent were anti-multiple religions, group.

• 3.7 percent were anti-Protestant. 

• 0.3 percent were anti-Atheism/Agnosticism/etc. 

• 10.5 percent were anti-other religion. (Based on Table 1.)

SALON  Hate crimes against perceived Muslims, which jumped up 50% in 2010 largely as a result of anti-Muslim propagandizing, remained at relatively high levels last year, according to 2011 hate crime statistics released today by the FBI.

The bureau reported that there were 157 reported anti-Muslim hate crimes in 2011, down slightly from the 160 recorded in 2010. The 2011 crimes occurred during a period when Islam-bashing propaganda, which initially took off in 2010, continued apace.

SPLC claims that the FBI statistics, which are compilations of state numbers, are notoriously understated. Two Department of Justice studies have indicated that the real level of hate crimes in America is some 20-30 times the number reported in the FBI statistics, in part because some 56% of hate crimes are never reported to police and more than half of those that are are mischaracterized as non-hate crimes. Nevertheless, the FBI statistics can be used to get a sense of general trends.

Last year saw continued high levels of anti-Muslim propaganda such as the crusade by some against the alleged Muslim plan to impose religious Shariah law on the United States. There were a number of local battles over the construction of new mosques, and several were attacked by apparent Islamophobes.

At the same time, the FBI statistics suggested that there was a 31% drop in anti-Latino hate crimes, from 534 in 2010 to 405 last year. It’s not clear what might be behind that drop, other than an apparent diminution in anti-Latino and anti-immigrant propaganda as negative attention focused on Muslims.

SPLC’s Active Anti-Muslim Group List The number of anti-Muslim groups tripled in 2011, jumping from 10 groups in 2010 to 30 last year. That rapid growth in Islamophobia, marked by the vilification of Muslims by opportunistic politicians and anti-Muslim activists, began in August 2010, when controversy over a planned Islamic cultural center in lower Manhattan reached a fever pitch.

Things got worse later in the year, when Oklahoma residents voted to amend the state constitution to forbid the use of Islamic Shariah law in state courts — a completely unnecessary change, given that the U.S. Constitution rules that out. The overheated atmosphere generated by these events also helped spur a 50% jump in the FBI’s count of anti-Muslim hate crimes in 2010. Then, in March 2011, U.S. Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) held hearings on the radicalization of U.S. Muslims that seemed meant to demonize them. At the same time, there was a swelling of truly vicious propaganda from several bloggers.

ANTI-MUSLIM hate groups are a relatively new phenomenon in the United States, most of them appearing in the aftermath of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Earlier anti-Muslim groups tended to be religious in orientation and disputed Islam’s status as a respectable religion.

All anti-Muslim hate groups exhibit extreme hostility toward Muslims. The organizations portray those who worship Islam as fundamentally alien and attribute to its followers an inherent set of negative traits. Muslims are depicted as irrational, intolerant and violent, and their faith is frequently depicted as sanctioning pedophilia, marital rape and child marriage.

These groups also typically hold conspiratorial views regarding the inherent danger to America posed by its Muslim-American community. Muslims are depicted as a fifth column intent on undermining and eventually replacing American democracy and Western civilization with Islamic despotism. Anti-Muslim hate groups allege that Muslims are trying to subvert the rule of law by imposing on Americans their own Islamic legal system, Shariah law.

Anti-Muslim hate groups also broadly defame Islam, which they tend to treat as a monolithic and evil religion. These groups generally hold that Islam has no values in common with other cultures, is inferior to the West and is a violent political ideology rather than a religion.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council’s (MPAC) choice of location for its 12th Annual Convention on December 15 is telling: The All Saints Episcopal Church of Pasadena, California. The group, founded by Muslim Brotherhood followers, says this is the ‘next step in its mission by crossing the interfaith line.’ Yet again, the Islamists are taking advantage of Christian ‘useful idiots’ with a desire to show off their tolerance.

The All Saints Episcopal Church of Pasadena started an Interfaith Study Group in 2007 with the Pasadena Jewish Temple and the Islamic Center of Southern California (ICSC), from which MPAC originated. 

The organization was founded as a branch of ICSC in 1986 and then became independent in 1988, though the two remain intertwined. The ICSC is proud of its interfaith successes. For example, the First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica is allowing the ICSC to hold Friday prayers there every week. In 2003, MPAC stood against the labeling of Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad as terrorist organizations.

In March 2009, demonstrators at an MPAC-sponsored rally chanted in support of Hamas and the elimination of Israel. A policy paper from 2010 titled Building Bridges to Strengthen America treats the Muslim Brotherhood favorably, calling it a “conservative” group that can help the U.S. combat terrorism.

The story of MPAC begins with Hassan and Maher Hathout, the former of whom died in 2009. The brothers became active with the Muslim Brotherhood at an early age, with Hassan Hathout saying that its founder, Hassan al-Banna, is "the person who most influenced my life" and that "centuries might roll over before a similar personality is produced." Maher Hathout was arrested in Egypt, where the Muslim Brotherhood was banned, and released in 1968. Three years later, they moved to Buffalo, New York and went to California to establish the ICSC in 1978.

Hassan Hathout says they sought to begin the "Islamic Movement" in the U.S., a term the Brotherhood uses to describe its ideology. In 1997, he predicted its success because "America needs Islam. If you look objectively you will see that this current civilization harbors in its body the seeds of its own destruction." The language is very similar to that of a 1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood strategy document where it defines its "work in America as a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within." Another U.S. Muslim Brotherhood document from 1989 from its Financial Committee refers to a person with the last name of Hathout as someone "in the field."

Maher Hathout has served as a senior adviser to MPAC since its beginning at the ICSC in 1986 and is still a spokesman for the mosque. The ICSC recommends the work of Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradawi, a senior Brotherhood cleric that supports terrorism, Hamas and preaches a strategy of "gradualism" towards implementing Sharia Law. It also suggests a book on Islamic law called Fiqh-us-Sunnah authored by Brotherhood member Sayyid Saabiq under the guidance of Hassan al-Banna.

In 1998, Maher Hathout defended Hezbollah as "legitimate," saying they are "fighting to liberate their land." He also entertains 9/11 conspiracy theories suggesting that the U.S. government is lying about the identities of the hijackers. The current President of MPAC, Salam al-Marayati, likewise said in 1999 that Hezbollah engages in "legitimate resistance." His immediate response to the 9/11 attacks were to point his finger at Israel.

MPAC's former Political Director, Mahdi Bray, used to lead the Muslim American Society's Freedom Foundation. The Muslim American Society is a Brotherhood front. He spoke in support of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2007 during a visit to Egypt. In March 2004, he condemned the killing of Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin as "state-sponsored terrorism." In 2000, he stood on stage as Abdurrahman Alamoudi, who later was convicted on terrorism-related charges, publicly praised Hamas and Hezbollah. He joined the crowd in their displays of approval.

MPAC's Policy and Programming Director, Edina Lekovic, was the editor of a Muslim student magazine in the 1990s called Al-Talib. In July 1999, it told Muslims to defend Osama Bin Laden when he's called a "terrorist" because he's a "freedom fighter." By that time, Al-Qaeda had already declared war on the U.S. and bombed the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998. Al-Talib management also told readers to reject the "twentieth-century version of Islam in the West," an Islamist theme. Lekovic's name also appears on an issue from May 1999 alleging that the Holocaust was exaggerated.

In 2003, MPAC stood against the labeling of Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad as terrorist organizations. Staying Out Of It 'Above Average' Joe In the last issue of the Survival Life Newsletter, I told you about the most harrowing story of road rage that I have personally experienced.  A man darted out in front of my car and what started as a simple honk, escalated into him trying to remove me from my vehicle by force. I got away from that incident without a scratch.  I did a few things right when dealing with the enraged idiot, but I also did a few things wrong. Below are a few tips that may work well for you if you are ever caught up in a situation like the one I was in: Advertisement Why 28 Minutes Could Save Your Life Warning! This is hard to do,  as our competitive nature will not want us to let them "win", but allowing the spat to end there  could diffuse any further problems. If the other driver begins to drive recklessly, slow down and change your route. The last thing you want is to be in a traffic accident with this person where you are forced to leave the safety of your vehicle. In my situation, I should have never honked at the gentlemen, and my tight-lipped smile as he cursed me only  increased his anger towards me. Never leave your car Roll-up your windows and lock your doors . This will put good reinforced steel and fairly thick glass between you. This alone may not ensure your safety, but it will act as a good deterrent. If the other driver begins to follow you, do not drive to your home or place of work. If you know the location of the local police or fire station, this is your best option. If you do not know where either of these are, either drive to a busy public location or simply keep driving. The attackers rage may subside enough for them to tire of following you. Never, under any circumstance, drive to a parking structure or anywhere enclosed.  This will put you at a major disadvantage and make it that much easier for the attacker to cause damage to you. Immediately dial 911 to report the road rage incident Remember when speaking to police dispatch, tell them all you can about the vehicle and the driver. Also request to stay on the phone until the officers arrive, especially if you fear that the other driver may attempt something drastic. I have a few issues with this tip, simply because in my situation, the police refused to help stating that I needed to follow the other driver and stay on the phone with them until they were able to get him.  My priority was getting my wife to safety first, I felt that following the other driver was their job, especially since I provided them with  a full description. Also  be aware that calling the police may further enrage some drivers and cause them to take more drastic measures because they believe that "they are going to jail anyway".  If you truly fear for your life, make sure that you are prepared to do whatever it takes to remove yourself from the situation. When you do call the police, DO NOT embellish the circumstances, this could cause you to get arrested for filing a false police report. After the situation has ended and you've calmed down, reexamine the events that took place.  Use it as a learning experience and try to figure out what you can do different next time. Do you ever find yourself being the aggressor in a driving situation.  You can admit it, I know I have. I wanted to include a few tips below to help you keep calm when driving and avoid becoming the cause of a road rage incident. Plan for the Unexpected You are more likely to become stressed when running late. Allow plenty of time to arrive at your destination without rushing or taking risks. Allot for delays, and map out your route in advance to avoid construction zones when possible. Drive Rested and Relaxed Driving while tired, irritable or short-tempered makes much less tolerant of other drivers and make you much more quick to lash out. Get plenty of rest and stay calm when behind the wheel. Play soothing music; listen to a comedy show anything else that allows you to take your mind off traffic while still keeping your eyes on the road. Take deep breaths to keep you centered and in a good mood. Share the Road, you don’t own it Every other person on the road has the same goal as you; to arrive at their destination safely and in a timely manner. Observe posted speed limits, avoid distractions and drive with courtesy and consideration to the welfare and safety of all motorist. Leave the Left Lane Drivers who refuse to move out of the left lane to allow fast-moving motorists to pass may be putting themselves at risk. Drivers piling up behind you will become angry and begin tailgating you. Move out of the left lane and into the slower moving traffic, even if you're doing the posted speed limit and others are breaking the law. Avoid Eye Contact Resist  the temptation. Avoid returning any stares, glares and dirty looks. The other driver will take any of these as an insult or challenge and respond with more aggression and perilous driving. Man dressed as 'Father Frost' stabbed to death in Tajikistan

Police sources said that they believe religious hatred could have been the motive behind the attack

A young man dressed as "Father Frost" – Russia's equivalent of Father Christmas – was stabbed to death in Tajikistan on Monday in an attack police believe was motivated by religious hatred.

A crowd attacked Parviz Davlatbekov, 24, and stabbed him with a knife as he visited relatives in the early hours of Monday dressed as Father Frost, who by tradition brings Russian children presents at New Year. Russian cultural influence remains strong in Tajikistan, a former Soviet republic.

"We have witness statements that say the crowd beat Parviz and stabbed him with a knife, shouting: 'You infidel!'," a source said.

The second source said religious hatred was being investigated as the motive for the crime, which occurred in the capital, Dushanbe.

Tajikistan is officially secular, though the vast majority of its 7.7m people are Muslims. Authorities have cracked down on religious freedoms in the last few years and jailed dozens of people for membership of Islamist groups.

President Imomali Rakhmon has ordered students at foreign religious schools to return home and told his security services to tighten control over religious education and mosques in Tajikistan, which he says are often used to foment radicalism.

His critics say poverty and repression in the poorest of the 15 former Soviet republics is pushing many young Tajiks toward radical Islamism. The country, where tens of thousands died in a civil war in the 1990s, shares a long border with Afghanistan.

Tokhir Normatov, chief of staff of Tajikistan's interior ministry, said the victim had died in hospital from a loss of blood, but made no comment on the motive for the attack.
